On One Condition

Shrinkage galore!

After coming up with a cool title for this blog post (sadly, I’m very proud of it), I thought I would do a blog post on *drum roll* CONDITIONING TREATMENTS.

Conditioning is something that cannot be missed, if you want your hair to be as healthy as it can possibly be. It’s up to you when you do it. You can do it every week, once a month, once every few or yearly (not a good idea). I do it whenever I wash my hair, which is ideally every 3 weeks. That might be ewww to some of you but it works for moi. If your hair is damaged, you may want to consider applying treatments once a week (also trim frequently).

See my ‘Conditioning – A Must’ post here, for a more in-depth discussion on this topic. For now, I just wanted to provide you with links to some reviews I’ve done on conditioners that have worked for me.

Review | Giovanni, Smooth As Silk, Deeper Moisture Conditioner

Review | Creme of Nature, Intense Conditioning Treatment

What conditioning treatments do you use? C’mon, let’s have a heated discussion below!

Absolutely conditioning is a must! (and I love your title lol) I deep condition once a week with Shea Moisture Yucca and Plantain Masque. I mostly use after a protein treatment, since my hair is thin in texture I need it. For protein I use: henna, green tea, coconut milk (depending on the week and how I’m feeling). But overall, for curly, coily, and kinky hair, deep conditioning is a must. My hair is absolutely more supple and healthier because of deep conditioning. Great post!
