Hair Smoothie – Mayo & Egg

Indeed, back at it again. This smoothie is packed with protein and is perfect for you if your strands are in need of strength. Let’s get straight into it!

You will need:
1 cup of mayo
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
3 eggs

Blend all, then apply to washed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic cap for 20-30 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly with cool water and, as usual, be sure to get all that egg out!

Benefits: Due to the amount of protein, this is ideal if you have damaged, breaking or hair that has been chemically treated. Mayonnaise is rich in the amino acid and L-cysteine, which helps in the formation of the hair protein, keratin. It is also rich in vitamin E, which serves as a natural hair serum that boosts moisture and shine!
