Why You Should Start a Blog

Hello earthlings! Today I am sharing why you should start a blog, if you don’t have one already. Although quite a lot of you lovely readers have a blog yourself, it is still handy to remind ourselves why we should continue. I’m also in the mood for a good ramble, so grab yourself a cup of tea and let’s get into this!

It’s therapeutic
As humans, we think about so many different things. That alone, can be very stressful. It’s good to let things out (not everything, but some things). In a way, it’s like you’re lifting it away from you and sharing it. You almost feel lighter (lol).

Sharing ideas
We all have amazing ideas swirling around in our heads. I’m not saying share sensitive details about things like your business plan and its unique selling point, hehe. But sharing your take on things is simply and nice thing to do for others. You also get feedback which means learning new things yourself.

Archive
You can look back, one day when you’re a bit bored, at what you wrote perhaps years ago and amuse yourself. There it is – a massive database of your written and/or drawn work on so many things. It’s just an awesome thing to have.

Get your slice
This point is simple – grab your slice of the internet. I’m convinced that one day we’re going to run out of space and it may not be that simple to just click ‘Create’ and have a blog.

It’s free
Finance is never a reason not to start! WordPress and Blogger (I prefer WordPress, evidently) are the best two platforms I would consider.
